Brandon Saad has already found his new home, as the former St. Louis Blues forward has signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Vegas Golden Knights.
Saad, 32, mutually terminated his contract with the Blues this week. Now, he is heading to Vegas, where he will aim to be an impactful part of their top nine.
The Golden Knights are having a strong season, but there is no question that they could use more depth on the wing. Saad will now give them just that as the season continues to inch closer to the playoffs.
Vegas could end up being a solid landing spot for Saad, as he has the potential to receive decent playing time. In addition, this move gives him the opportunity to play for a contender again.
In 43 games this season with the Blues before his contract was terminated, Saad had seven goals, 16 points, and a minus-14 rating.
