After a year and a half of being designated a closed military zone, and a week after the significant snowfall, Mount Hermon reopened today (Tuesday) to visitors. The reopening is currently limited to visitors only, with no skiing allowed due to damage to the site’s infrastructure caused during the war, including direct hits on two cable cars. The damage is expected to be repaired only during the summer months.
Visitors can enjoy the snow, take a ride on the visitor cable car, try the extreme sledding track, the SkyRider VR simulation, and snow sledding for children.
