Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez Case Their New $50 Million Joint

What’s the first thing you do once you’re in the process of buying a $50 million estate in Bel Air? I can’t speak for everyone, but when I’m in the process of buying a $50 million estate in Bel Air, the first thing I do is drive my little Tesla up to it and start taking pics. I want to show my mom and the interior designer what we’re working with here. “Fire up your mood boards, girls!” I say. “We’ve got 20,000 square feet to decorate.”

Well, once again the stars are just like us, because that’s what Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck did over the weekend. They drove to their new $50 million estate in Bel Air in a Tesla (along with Lopez’s daughter, Emme, and a security detail, reportedly) and snapped some photos, per TMZ’s paparazzi photos. First thing to fix? The long-lens sight lines through the windows.

The couple is in contract to buy the estate for some $15 mil less than the original asking price—a deal! A steal! Hedge fund manager Todd Lemkin and his wife first listed the newly renovated mansion for $65 million, according to Dirt. It features 10 bedrooms and nearly twice as many bathrooms. It has four kitchens! While it’s no engagement ring, a $50 million investment in a starter home is quite a vote of confidence for living their lives together for the foreseeable future.
