Week 1 is upon us and Thursday night offers up the first taste with a slate of 21 college football games.
That includes our first look at Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes. Coach Prime’s crew started off last season hot and captured the nation’s attention before rapidly plummeting back to earth. After beefing up their roster via the transfer portal, will this year be different for the Buffs? They open at home against FCS stalwart North Dakota State.

The Bison were methodical with that drive and got some help with a crucial offsides call on Colorado. In the end, it’s NDSU QB Cam Miller sprinting around the corner for a 7-yard TD.

Don’t look now, but 32.5-point underdog Western Carolina of the FCS is on the board first against NC State, thanks to a big interception by Ken Moore Jr. WCU takes a quick 7-0.
