The historic Jay Littleton Ball Park, in Ontario, California, that served as the backdrop of the film A League of Their Own burned to the ground in a 5-alarm fire on Thursday, possibly due to homeless people breaking into the park.
The Ontario Fire Department posted a message to social media telling residents that the first fire engine arrived on the scene at 11:30 p.m. to address the fire that started in the wooden grandstands, Fox News reported.
