The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet announced on Saturday evening that in recent days, they have recovered remains from the Gaza Strip associated with the body of the murdered hostage Menachem (Meny) Goddard, who was murdered by Islamic Jihad on Oct. 7.
Kan News has learned that earlier this week, IDF soldiers from the Yahalom Unit and the Golani Reconnaissance Unit located remains near an outpost of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Rafah. These remains were sent for forensic examination in a focused operation.
