Shortly before the meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday evening, Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat reported that Egypt had submitted a new hostage-ceasefire proposal to Hamas.
