3 men found dead in NYC basement under mysterious circumstances: cops

Three men were found dead under mysterious circumstances in the basement of a Queens home early Thursday, cops said.

A 39-year-old man – as well as two other unidentified men – were discovered unconscious and unresponsive inside in the cellar of the building on Putnam Avenue near Seneca Avenue in Ridgewood when officers responded to a 911 call just before 7 a.m., police said.

All three were pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

No criminality was immediately suspected, though the investigation remains ongoing, cops said.

Police could not immediately confirm the relationships, if any, between the men.

The city’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will officially determine the causes of all three deaths.
