Ready-to-drink coffee arrives from Oz

Hunt And Brew, Australia’s ready-to-drink coffee brand is launching in Europe. The single-origin ready-to-drink coffees are available in three cold brew coffee origins, Brazil Coffee, Ethiopia Coffee (black, dairy-free) and Colombia Coffee.

“We’re really excited to introduce Hunt And Brew,” said Doni Savvides, chief growth officer at Hunt And Brew. “There are many well-founded preconceptions about ready-to-drink coffee being full of sugars or sweeteners, and we’re here to shake things up. Our commitment to real coffee and clean ingredients sets us apart.

Hunt And Brew has partnered with Kerby Rosanes, a Philippines-based illustrator, well known for his art and illustrations using fine line markers, to create the artwork for the products.

New fruity flavours for summer

Cawston Press, is adding to its range of child-friendly, school approved Fruit Waters. The new Sunshine Orange, joins Apple & Pear, Apple & Summer Berries, Apple & Mango. Cawston Press Fruit Waters are made with at least 40% fruit water, mixed with natural still water. They contain no added sugars, sweeteners or preservatives, or ‘no jiggery pokery’ as they say.

“Here at Cawston Press, we get emotional about ingredients, with added sugars creating anger and fruit fakery serving anxiety,” says Milly Tuck, senior brand manager at Cawston Press. “This is why we are offering families a healthier, no jiggery pokery alternative this summer.”

Innovation in functional beverages

FUL Foods, a female-founded food innovation startup based in the Netherlands, is launching BLUwater.

BLUwater, a naturally blue drink that results from phycocyanin, an ingredient extracted from spirulina biomass, is said to be hydrating, detoxifying and immune boosting.

FUL Foods’ extraction process of phycocyanin is said to ensure stability across various heat treatments and pH balances while maintaining its vivid blue colour.

The brand, known for its sustainable solutions, uses a process, which recycles carbon emissions to grow spirulina in a controlled environment, ensuring consistency in nutrient levels and purity without the need for arable land or pesticides.

Energy drinks inspired by the classics

Energy drinks brand, Celsius, has announced the launch of Celsius Sparkling Cherry Cola.

Celsius drinks are made with essential vitamins, are sugar free and are inspired by classic flavours.

“Sparkling Cherry Cola delivers a rush of better-for-you energy as the tangy sweetness of cherries meets the familiar, bubbly embrace of cola, creating an irresistible harmony that takes your taste buds on a mouthwatering journey,” said a spokesperson for Celsius. “Sparkling Cherry Cola brings together the boldness of cola and the refreshing burst of cherry, leaving you revitalised and craving more.

Bone-broth but now in a shake

Bone broth brand Freja, is launching its new Bone Broth Shake. Made with natural, wholefood ingredients, the new drinks are available in Raw Cacao, Vanilla Bean, Wild Strawberry, and Unflavoured, and can be drunk hot or cold. 

Each drink is made using just four ingredients and contains up to 21g of collagen and 23g of protein per serving.

“We are so excited to be launching our new shake range,” says Jess Leather, founder of Freja. “It really is the first of its kind – and so much more than just a protein powder. It’s gut friendly, packed with feel-good nutrition and we promise you won’t taste the broth!
