Black Friday is just days away, but Amazon is already throwing down the deals gauntlet. The retailer has already cut the prices of thousands of products, with everything from TVs to laptops and air fryers to AirPods getting a discount.
We’ll be updating this page with relevant news, buying advice, and our recommended deals throughout the weekend, so bookmark this page to stay ahead of the curve.

See all today’s deals at AmazonAs the name suggests, the Amazon Black Friday Week sale runs from now all the way through to Black Friday next week – before extending out until Cyber Monday on November 28.
Offers you see on launch day will be available for the entire length of the sale – if they don’t sell out first – though there may also be a few surprise limited-time Lightning Deals. We’ll share any we spot with you here, so you don’t miss out.

It’s not even six months old yet, but the new Apple MacBook Air (M2, 2022) is already on sale this Black Friday. Amazon doesn’t have much in terms of Apple laptop deals, but Best Buy has the 256GB model available for $1,049 – that’s $150 off the retail price, the cheapest this new MacBook Air has been sold for since its launch earlier this year.
While it’s naturally more expensive than the 2020 model (which uses the Apple M1 chip), the M2 MacBook Air is a sound choice for anyone looking to buy a future-proof Apple laptop.
If you’re not too fussed about processing power, you can pick up a 2020 Intel-powered model from Best Buy too, now reduced to a very respectable $570. M1 models seem to be in short supply right now thanks to some excellent sales, but good old Best Buy still has the 2020 M1 model for just $800.

(Image credit: bbc)Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has some surprising Black Friday advice for prospective shoppers: slow things down a little.
When asked by CNN (via The Telegraph (opens in new tab)) whether people should carry on as normal or if they should “batten down the hatches” with the increasingly difficult financial situation many of us are finding ourselves in, Jeff Bezos said that people should “take some risk off the table.”
He added, “If you’re an individual and you’re thinking about buying a new large-screen TV, maybe slow that down. Keep that cash, see what happens. Same thing with a refrigerator or a new car, or whatever.”
While that advice is certainly nothing groundbreaking, it is interesting to hear it coming from the founder of the world’s largest online retailer ahead of the biggest shopping event of the year. Even more so considering that Amazon has faced a much more difficult year than normal – now more than ever it likely needs shoppers browsing its Black Friday deals.
Regardless of his reasoning behind the statement, Bezos’ words ring true; with energy prices and inflation on the rise money is tight and we’d definitely recommend thinking twice before buying a new gadget. If it is something you desperately need then Black Friday is a great time to pick it up at a bargain price, but if you can hold off for a few more months or even another year you likely won’t regret it.

This is not a drill! The best-ever deal on Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 just dropped but you’ll want to act fast as it’s only going to last for one day (or until stock runs out). Right now you can get the AirPods Pro 2nd Gen for just $197.99 at Woot (opens in new tab), instead of their usual $249 (saving you $52).
This might not be the biggest discount you’ll see this Black Friday but it is one of the best simply because the AirPods Pro 2 are so new. For under $200, I don’t think any other earbuds come close to matching these value-wise. We’ve written about several of the best Black Friday earbuds deals from other brands and seen their earbuds drop to prices around this but the AirPods Pro 2 outperform them.
