Woman tries selling grandmother’s funeral flowers on second-hand clothes website: ‘How’s it offensive?’

Must Read

Forget seven stages of grief — this woman apparently had only one.

A woman left one online shopper irate after she was reportedly spotted trying to sell her own grandmother’s funeral flowers on a second-hand clothing website, according to the Sun.

The shopper who came across the wreaths, posted on the shopping site called “Vinted,” was shocked after seeing white and colorful flowers listed as “Mum/Nan flowers” for £115, or $145.00, a TikTok account shared.

The unidentified woman also added “new without tags” to the listing.

Furious about the listed item, the shopper took things into their own hands by direct messaging the woman for how “offensive” she was for selling the funeral flowers.

“Not to be rude but it’s a bit offensive selling someone’s funeral flowers,” the shopper messaged the seller.

But the seller snapped back at the angered shopper for being rude “at a difficult time.”

“It’s my nanna’s flowers. I suggest you leave your thoughts to yourself because I find you rather offensive at a difficult time,” the woman said.

“How’s it offensive?” the seller replied back before the shopper takes the argument to the next level.

“Just not exactly what people want to see when shopping for clothes is it? I’ve reported you to Vinted.”

Totally thrown off by the message, the woman asks the shopper, “Reported me for what? My nanna dying?”

A shopper was furious about the woman selling the flowers, calling them out about it in a direct message on Vinted.

The two go back and forth, as the shopper later made it clear to the woman she was “going against Vinted terms and conditions” by selling the flowers.

“You’re not the only person who has dealt with grief just to let you know,” the shopper lets out their final say.

Near the end of the heated dispute, the woman notices the shopper’s not-so-nice reviews and called them out about it before she was blocked.

The shopper submitted the intense back and forth messages to an Instagram account called depopmadness, which then posted them to TikTok.

The video left commenters sharing mixed opinions, but some were actually siding with the seller due to how expensive funerals can be.

“I personally think this is a great idea. This would help so many grieving families, especially if no life insurance,” one user said.

“A lot of people can’t afford them. Well done to the people selling them 💕,” another replied.

“I bought my ‘dad’ flower block [sic] on Vinted just added my own flowers. Funerals are EXPENSIVE and this would probably ease the strain on seller and buyer,” one supportive replier shared.
