From Billy Madison to Happy Gilmore to Uncut Gems, Adam Sandler has a laundry list of iconic roles. However, there is one in particular that’s currently making waves on social media. The 2000 comedy Little Nicky, in which Sandler stars as the Devil’s son, has been rumored to be getting a Netflix sequel. But is it true? Luckily, we have you covered on everything you need to know!
The original movie — which also stars Patricia Arquette and Harvey Keitel — follows the Devil’s mild-mannered son Nicky (Sandler) as he’s tasked with returning his two brothers to Hell after they escape with the intention of wreaking havoc on Earth.
A poster for the alleged second installment of Little Nicky has been circulating on social media. The image shows Sandler’s character wearing a long red robe with pajama pants as he sits on a bench in front of the New York City skyline with his dog Beefy. The poster further states that the film will come to Netflix in May 2024.

Is Little Nicky 2 coming to Netflix?
Unfortunately, the Little Nicky 2 poster has been ruled fake, according to The Direct. The outlet reports that, along with copying and pasting Sandler’s face from the original poster, the altered photo also uses the same “background and format” with nothing different aside from a recolored skyline, a new outfit and some photoshopped devil horns on the actor’s head.
Netflix, Sandler and other castmates have also not confirmed that a Little Nicky sequel is in the works. In fact, the only movies starring the actor that have gotten a second installment were Grown Ups, Hotel Transylvania and Murder Mystery.
